Enjoyed your reference to your HVAC system. Our house we currently reside in had a Honeywell system that one could set different temperatures throughout the day, even had vacation timing. The only thing we never found out how to do was get the heat or air conditioning to come on when we needed it. We removed the fancy Honeywell and replaced with a very antiquated thermostat with one switch to flip from heat or cool. Dial in the temperature and it stays till you choose to change it. Simplicity works.

I remember back in the day, when America was semi-normal, and mentally ill people had hospitals and institutions to help them survive. Now those same mentally ill are living on the streets, creating crime and filth, and are elected by those same mentally ill, destroying our country and creating crime and filth.

AI may be the answer to our human lack of intelligence, as we will find out soon enough...

My youngest son just graduated with an electrical engineering degree. He always said he wants big power generation. The navy is offering him over two hundred thousand dollars a year. I would be so proud if he did that. That said he's gonna work at a nuclear power plant. He's more lucrative offers but has decided that nuclear is the way to go and that's the career choice to make... Blah blah at least there are still people who work hard and aim hi.

Everybody stay safe!

I can’t wait for AI to relieve me of my critical thinking and cynicism. My thoughts will be preprogrammed by the govt thought police and I will have a perfect social credit score, I will own nothing, think nothing, and be happy!

I can’t wait for the WEF climate AI engine to depopulate the planet for me. Feed me to the matrix when it’s over.

"In our own home in Maryland, we’ve never been able (or willing to take the time) to master the HVAC controls. "

Haha! You, too? Full disclosure: I never learned how to program a VCR. Somewhere in cyberspace, all my VCRs are still flashing "zero". Best always. PM

Is it a problem that Artificial Intelligence wins over human intelligence. Perhaps not. In some instances AI is the only intelligence present.

Students write essays by way of AI. Next thing you know our leaders will turn to AI in looking for ways to get re-elected. They will be hard pressed to beat their own intelligence. They mastered it so well that there is no intelligence that can be superior. There is always a chance that a new extra-terrestrial intelligence will visit our planet.

Pelosi, Schumer, Biden and a few others are suspects of sharing that intelligence.

For the people in the so called working class there is only one solution. They need to look down and try to find intelligence between their toes. Looking up is reserved for the elite. Such was the will of God.

Have you heard of the Prayer Breakfast for the elite designed to sell Jesus

I recall the head of Engineering at Boeing saying in 1988(I heard him say it) that in his opinion all that computer aided, digital design would accomplish was that it would “allow engineers to make mistakes at the speed of light”. I was one of the people in commercial aircraft operations that got to learn what he meant. I wonder what he would say, if he were still here, about ChatGPT?
