Chiang Kai-shek tried desperately to get support from FDR against Mao and his murdering hoard of communist. FDR had many more socialist and communist as advisers then any president in history, up till now. FDR and his staff were the deciding factor for the growth of communism. Should have ended then, now we will pay the price as communism takes over the planet. The only thing that can save us, is our right to arm and defend ourselves. China, and it’s bought and paid for shills in our government and media are doing everything in their power to end this right. If successful, our constant depleted freedoms will end, along with America. Hope all enjoyed a safe, happy and healthy Thanksgiving, and never let them take what we all have to be grateful for…….America 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

It is difficult navigating the terrain these days with eyes and ears seemingly on us at all times. One misstep and the PTB will take you down, and fast. I find myself wanting to shout out from the mountain tops about what I see going on, but wanting and doing are two different things. So, instead, I stick to preparing for the worst while still remembering that I live in the paradise of my choosing. I find empowerment, not by holding a protest sign or trying to change other folks' minds, but by tending the gardens, chickens and cows, and generally being self-sufficient. A good hike or backcountry ski day keeps me grounded and is a time for thought and introspection. A good day at the range helps hone what might become less of a sport and more of an essential survival skill.

The elite are out of control trying to control every thought and deed. I've never been much of a conformer and don't expect that to change, so this march towards "the dark cluster", as Bill puts it, is most difficult. Don't forget prayer and what is truly important in your life as they will keep you sane and motivated. Never give up!

“The only thing that can save us, is our right to arm and defend ourselves.”

You know, all die. The most important question is: Is there a God? Eric Metaxas’s book “Is Atheism Dead”, makes an outstanding point.

Ultimately, belief resides in the individual and we need our own proof; without it we are those we rail against.

The ultimate hope is God, residing in individuals, with courage that values truth over transient things.

Without the source of truth, God, the world will continue along its present course until it is destroyed by our creations, the destructive capacity we so rely on.

I'm sorry to comment on such a minor point, but in the interest of accuracy, it's helpful to note that Nero committed suicide in AD 68, almost a century and a half before the emperors who Bill mentions. In any case, I'm grateful that Bill uses the traditional "AD" marker rather than "CE."

It's really sad how China has changed its course over the last decade!

When I went there for a couple of months in 2012, I remember the spirit and vibe there were totally different from what's going on right now.

so true, the most important thing I think we can do is manage the risk as best we can, through asset allocation, sensible stops, and being very wary and sceptical of politicians and their so called care for us.
